Lull
Lull reflects on Odessa in the off-season, when the rhythm of the city slows and its coastal landscape sheds its tourist identity.
As the crowds disappear, the beaches empty, and the soundscape fades, a different atmosphere emerges — one defined by stillness, local presence, and the quiet persistence of everyday life. Seagulls, stray cats, and a few residents replace the seasonal influx, revealing a space in transition.
The series was photographed during visits to Odessa in October 2015 and 2017.
